Meet Our Founders
Marc, Nick, and John joined forces to lead GreenLogic,
with the goal of making the world a better place by Eliminating the Cost of Energy™.
Marc Cléjan has a proven track record of building successful and profitable businesses gleaned from more than 30 years of management expertise. He left the corporate sector to found GreenLogic, a for-profit company aligned with his growing desire to help make the world a better place. In preparation for this new focus, he earned a Masters Degree in Environmental Management from New York University, and received his solar, wind, and geothermal certifications.
Previously, Marc was president of Odyssey Capital Corp., a Manhattan real estate investment and management firm specializing in corporate temporary housing. Prior to establishing Odyssey Capital, Mr. Cléjan was a corporate vice president at Health Management Systems, Inc. (HMSY) in New York City for 12 years, when he helped sales grow from $17 to $110 million, and the company issued a very successful IPO. Mr. Cléjan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Cornell University.
He lives in East Hampton, N.Y., with his wife and two children.
Nick Albukrek is an entrepreneur at heart with a history of growing a company's bottom line by developing customer relationships, managing supply channels and spearheading sales efforts. When he partnered with Marc Clejan, a friend since college, and the two men focused their efforts toward realizing their mutual goal, GreenLogic was born.
Nick was most recently president of American Machinery Suppliers, Inc. of Manhattan. The company was an industry leader and international supplier of industrial textile machinery and parts. The company's sales reached $125 million, through his creative marketing and business development skills.
Mr. Albukrek earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vassar College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University.
He is married with two children, and lives on the East End of Long Island.
John is a Long Island native whose love of the outdoors led him to a lifetime of work giving back to nature and protecting the environment. For the last nine years he’s been using his local knowledge and background in geology and sales, along with his construction experience to help build GreenLogic’s sales team into the most respected and knowledgeable on the island.
Prior to joining GreenLogic, John worked as an investigative geologist and project manager on several of the largest petroleum spills in New York state. He also designed and planned water treatment systems and served as Project Manager/Hydro-geologist/Geologist of Environmental Assessment & Remediations (EAR), an environmental consulting firm.
When he’s not spending time with his family, John can probably be found fishing or putting his Professional Master Boat Captain license to work helping others catch fish via his Tsunami Fishing Charters business.
