GEOTHERMAL SAVINGS
The savings from a geothermal HVAC system depend on many factors and can vary substantially from property to property. As a general rule, the best candidates for geothermal are: 1) New construction, 2) Customers planning on adding central air conditioning, 3) Customers who are renovating/expanding and plan on upgrading their heating/cooling systems.

These candidates have a choice: To buy a traditional system or a geothermal system. Although a geothermal system typically costs more upfront, increased efficiency makes it much less expensive to operate. The following is an example of a comparison between the two choices for a sample new 2,800 square foot home. This is presented for comparison purposes and you must call for a specific quote for your project – prices will vary.
