JOB TITLE: INSTALLER
Summary:
The Installer is a part of a 3-4 person team responsible for the installation of the solar electric systems including: standoffs, racking, solar panels, conduit and wiring. Perform other tasks as assigned by Project Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School or equivalent.
Experience: Two or more years of directly related training or experience in one or more of the related trades: carpentry, roofing and electrical. Working knowledge of Visio.
Other:
- Proven organizational skills with a strong orientation for detail.
- Business to Business and Business to Customer environment.
- Good math, writing and computer skills.
- Warm, personable and well-spoken. Well dressed and groomed.
- Creative and able to find more productive ways to conduct business.

- Own transportation with clean driving record.
Working Conditions:
Physical Demands: Must be very comfortable working on/climbing ladders and roofs. Uses power tools and performs physical labor. May be required to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. or must ask for assistance on anything over 50 lbs. May assist others lifting/carrying objects heavier than 50 lbs.
Environment: Work outdoors at business locations or at personal residences. Subject to weather conditions.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
• Assist the Project Manager with all aspects of the on site installation of products.
• Locate, mark and cut holes in roof to install equipment using power saws and drills.
• Installs supports and brackets to anchor systems using carpenter’s hand tools.
• Lay-out and run wiring according to specifications and under directions of electrician.
• Maintain tools and equipment owned by GreenLogic.
• Keep the “work van” clean including the interior and exterior as well as keeping the maintenance current and recorded.
• Maintain the storage area(s) clean and organized.
• Assist with pre and post closing site visits.
• Complete layout drawings on Visio.
• Maintain inventory and tracking of the tool and equipment, field supply and hardware.
• Plan and organize work at sites to be the least invasive as possible. Clean up work sites to look as if you've never been there.
• Assist other team members as needed.
•Adhere to call company policies and procedures.
• Work on any other projects or assignments as directed by management.
• Believe in what GreenLogic is selling and the values of environmental conservation.
