JOB TITLE: MECHANIC
Summary:
Responsible for the installation of the electrical components of GreenLogic’s solar PV (electric) systems. Work under guidance and supervision of master electrician. Troubleshoot problems and perform inspection site visits. Note: this position can qualify mechanic to get their electrical license.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School or equivalent. Trade school a plus.
Experience: A combination of one to three years of directly related training or experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job. Experience with primary electrical work.

- Own transportation with clean driving record a plus.
Working Conditions:
Physical Demands: Must be very comfortable working on/climbing ladders and roofs. Performs physical labor. Uses electrical tools, carpentry and other hand tools or power tools. May be required to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. or must ask for assistance on anything over 50 lbs. May assist others lifting/carrying objects heavier than 50 lbs.
Environment: Work outdoors at business locations or at personal residences. Subject to all weather conditions.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
• Assist with the performance of pre-sales and post-sales site reviews and inspections.
• Equipment/Materials Planning
- Keep inventory and truck/trailer clean, organized and stocked.
- Secure miscellaneous materials.
- Stock and prepare trailer for each job.
- Coordinate delivery of electrical supplies to the job.
• Installation of the backboards, inverters and disconnect switches and the interconnection to
the service panel.
- Provide primary hands-on electrical work for all jobs.
- Support and assist Electrician, Project Manager and Installers as needed.
- Work as a team to get the job done.
- Prepare and install all labels and documentation for jobs.
- Work on rooftop installations as needed.
- Measure, cut, prepare, and pull wires.
- Measure, cut, bend, and install conduits.
- Install backboards & inverters and disconnect switches.
- Install fuses.
• Identify system & installation issues and resolutions.
• Research new systems and solutions that would be helpful to GreenLogic.
• Ensure best safety practices are observed at all times.
• Learn applicable codes and ensure they are applied.
• Support sales staff and help generate leads and business.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Work on any other projects or assignments as directed by management.
• Believe in what GreenLogic is selling and the values of environmental conservation.
