Green Logic Windmill to fuel Smithtown Recycling Center

The Smithtown Town Board awarded Green Logic Energy $75,000 to install the 120-foot tall windmill at the Smithtown Recycling Center. The Green Logic wind energy solution will provide 10 kilowatts of electricity for the Center and will help Smithtown remain a leader in adopting alternative energy soltuons throughout the town.
Earlier this year, the Smithtown Recycling Center installed solar panels, while the town uses buses powered by natural gas and energy-efficient LED streetlights. Read more about Green Logic and the Smithtown Recycling Center in the Newsday article.
